Signed up for H/C bingo again, even though I didn't post a single thing for it last year (whoops). I've already got ideas for this year, though!

possession / mind control touch-starved sacrifice kidnapping deadline / time bomb
haunted side effects begging captivity protection
accept injury to protect someone scars WILD CARD sex pollen explosion
hallucinations Stockholm syndrome tentacles alien abduction broken bones
assault dungeons comfort food or item / feeding someone forgiveness torture

I've already got something in the works that I can use for possession/mind control or torture, which is good, because those are corner squares. Hmm... touch-starved could easily be for The Martian, although I may have written everything I really wanted to say about that fandom for Yuletide; not sure yet. Nothing is immediately jumping to mind for the other three on that line though. 'Accepting injury to protect someone,' ohh, that's one of my favorites. It could be for just about any of my fandoms too. I've got bits and pieces of ideas for some of the other squares, but we'll see, I guess.

Overall I'm liking this card!

ETA: Ok, for my own reference, piling sandbags on parapets could potentially fill touch-starved, torture, assault, or scars.
tsukimi could be possession/mind control, haunted
cocoa, sugar, water and salt could be comfort food or item / feeding someone
New new exchange fic could be protection, sacrifice, accepting injury??

Oh, you've got a nice one. Hallucinations! Deadline/time bomb!

Is it just me, or are the bingo cards extra nice this year? :D Maybe it's just that I'm feeling inspired, but all the ones I've seen so far have been pretty good ones.

I know, right? I think the prompts list must have been edited because there are definitely a few new ones on there.

We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.
Through the unknown, unremembered gate
When the last of earth left to discover
Is that which was the beginning;
At the source of the longest river
The voice of the hidden waterfall
And the children in the apple-tree
Not known, because not looked for
But heard, half-heard, in the stillness
Between two waves of the sea.
Quick now, here, now, always—
A condition of complete simplicity
(Costing not less than everything)
And all shall be well and
All manner of things shall be well
When the tongues of flame are in-folded
Into the crowned knot of fire
And the fire and the rose are one.
